Does anyone know about how much replacing an engine rod would cost if one of the rods were blown, including labor? That would be a $1000+ type job wouldn't it? I'm seriously hoping that's not the source of the noise my car's making...

Sorry internet was down... it's making a clicking/clanking noise... varies with acceleration (increases when I give it gas).. I'm not sure it's a rod at all, just one of the possiblities, the worst one (I'm a pessimist, I know!)
