Too big to ride??????
Hey thanks DA-MAX I am kind of broke right now if you know what I am saying? But income tax time I am going to get some Koni struts and either Intrax or Eibach springs dont know for sure which one yet.
I will be jacking up my Mustang tommorow and throwing on my 18X9's on the Maxima and let all you guys know if they fit, need any spacers, etc...
Ill take a pic also.
I have 2 diff sets, chrome and Silver. I can get them at a hell of a deal also! I will post pics asap. I am thinking it will look KILLER. These are awsome wheels on the stangs so I think they will be right at home on the Max
Stay tuned!!!

well i have 18X8s on the max right now with a eibach and tocrapos. i have to admit the ride is rough, but i really like the look. if you dont mind a bumpy ride, go ahead with the 18s man. no bigger than that though.
Hehe, yea, I am the one who brought this thread back to life. I was doing a search on 18X9 and came accross this one. Since there seemed to be some confusion, I figured I would just put on the 18X9's and try them myself.
I will be putting 18X9 in rear with 295/35/18's Toyo Prox T1's
18X9 in front with 265/35/18 Toyo Prox T1's
The tread pattern is awsome and should look great if it fits. I may have to run a really small spacer, or it may not fit at all. I figured not too many people just happen to have a set of wheels and tires this big and cant really experiment and see just how big is "too big"
If I can get my *** off the couch today, I will do it. LOL

I have heard all kinds of stuff at diff online forums stating that "that want work, I heard from my brothers uncle Leroys wife, her aunts brother Jeffro tried it and it didnt work" just to find out later when I try it that it will work.
You may be right, maybe the tires want fit, that is perfectly fine with me. But,,,,,at least I will know for sure, and not because so and so said it couldnt be done.
Peace
Ps, this isnt a Pathfinder forum?

Hey guys I am new to this forum and I just bought my 92SE about 2 months ago. I just put 17x9's with 245/45/17's off a Mustang Cobra R. These wheels look sweet but they rub a little on hard bumps and fast cornering. I think it has a lot to do with still having the stock struts and springs. I am putting on new ones next week and will let you know if that helps.
Hey man, do ya think I could get a pic of those on your car? Being a Mustang fanatic, I would love to see what the R's look like on your car. Thanks man

Personally I think the 9.5's will stick out too much. The 9's almost do but once I get the body kit I and drop it a little I think it will look real sweet. Like I said I am a new Max owner but I am very pleased so far. I am just trying to figure out what to do to get some more HP.
we're all in search
of more HP...
but for it sticking out is up to the offset and when u get a bodykit u can't really tell anymore...my was sticking out a little but with the bodykit it took care of the problem...
