Installing Rear Deck Speakers HELP!

I just bought some new clarion speakers for the rear deck of my 91 gxe. I looked around and i dont see any way of uninstalling the rear deck speakers. Please respond with any useful information that will help me!
Thanks

I also think Craig has instructions on how to do that, too. If not, I can tell you how, in detail. I just did mine. Let me know.

I did this a few months ago in my SE. You'll need to remove the back seat and rear deck panel. be sure you have a very short screwdriver since the screws closest to the back window will be hard to get out otherwise. Try that and see how it turns out.

dont know if this helps, but my back speakers are bottom mount. its held to the bose assembly by 4 nuts. i thought i was going to have to pull the backseat AGAIN to take them out.
hope this helps.

That works too...
Non-BOSE = Top Mount Only
BOSE = Top/Bottom Mount

I had the BOSE system, but I didnt want to botom mount the speakers becuase they were mounted so low under the rear deck. I ended taking out the BOSE Amp mounts to but my new Infinity Kappa 6 3/4's.

i'm planning to buy a sheet of 3/4" MDF from home depot this week and make new pods for my front speakers (soon to be MTX thunder 6000 6.5" componants) and boxes for my back speakers (currently JBL 6x9's, soon to be MTX 3 way 6x9s), how hard was it to take the bose mounts out? i've taken my interior completely out before, so taking the back deck apart isnt an issue.

also, how hard was it to install your APC headlight harness and how much did it cost?
thanks
