JUST JOKING!! I read an older thread that someone had taken a blowdryer, heated the seals around the light to gain access to the amber and red peices in the tail lights. I think then he just resealed them. Check out some older threads, they tend to answere some questions that keep get asked! umpkin2:

i just took a screw driver and kept hitting it until it cracked. it came out pretty good. now that i now about the blow dryer i can take it off my car again and take out the red part

my friend and i attempted to do this on his 99 se. we used a heatgun to warm up that sick black goop. we tried to use small pieces of flouresent light covers to replace the yellow piece. it was hard to get it too look right, so we just said **** it and put it all back to normal. since the outer part of the tailight was absolutely clear, you could look in and see the texture of the flouresent light cover and it look like crap. i'm not sure if 89-94 maxima tailights are the same. i think they might be.
