bulbs in my gauges

bulbs in my gauges
ok, i took apart my dash and put some polar g hyperwhite bulbs in my gauges today and they still had a bit of a green tint to them. why is this? is there a green piece of paper inside the gauge box that i had to take apart and remove? also does anyone know where i could get some really nice looking red bulbs for them?

the gxe gauges have a bit of green tint on the guages themselves

that sucks. if i put red bulbs in there, would it be bright enough to cover up the green or would it mix and look nasty?
