Cleaning MAF sensor (VE30DE)

Can the MAF sensor easily be removed from the housing to clean? I see there's 4 screws on the housing connector. Don't know if it's possible to remove it to clean it, or if most just spray MAF cleaner through the screen on the end of the MAF housing.

Our car keeps stalling and I think this might be the cause. Cleaning the sensor did the trick for another vehicle I had.

yea just pull the tube off and spray it with maf cleaner through the screen. check the wires for corrosion too. lots of members on here have issues with green crap on their harness plugs and stuff.

Thanks for the help. I'll try that. Yeah I had some corrossion on the coolant temp sensor connector once and it caused all kinds of trouble.
