VE30DE Factory Intake Picture

Does anyone have a picture of the factory intake for a VE30DE? Or a link to one? I ordered one from a junkyard and I don't think it's correct for my engine. It's an auto transmission if that makes any difference.

they might have given you one for an SOHC engine, that one is long comes from the bottom and wraps around the battery, while the DOHC comes from the right and makes a corner around the battery to the front.

are you talking about intake MANIFOLD or intake piping (commonly called an intake by "sport compact people")?

Sorry, should have been more specific. I mean the air filter box, maf, and the flexible tube. Seems the flexible tube on the one they sent doesn't have connections for the vacuum lines, doesn't have the plastic resonator box, and it's shorter from what I gathered looking at some engine bay pics on other VEs.

But this one doesn't seem to look like one from a VG SOHC either. ???

Can you show a picture of what you have?

VE consists of a flexible midpipe with two vacuum lines and a resonator on the bottom, the MAF, then the air box assembly.

VG consists of a flexible lower cuplink, S-pipe with resonator, MAF, and Airbox.

Thanks for the pic there Cliff!

I'm going to see tomorrow if they have the correct pieces in stock to ship. Maybe they chose the wrong maxima when they pulled the parts.
