maybe he bookmarked it and it wouldn't due to the page-name reformat (happened last week sometime)... used to be forumdisplay.php?f=8 for the 3g main forum or something like that but now it's all spelled out with hyphens like this 3rd-generation-maxima-1989-1994-8/
