92 tranny swap ?

92 tranny swap ?

I have a 92' SOHC with A/T, can I put manual tranny in it from a 93 DOHC????

yep. just swap over the axles and hubs with it, and of course, the shifty bits and clutchy bits. see "capedcadaver's tranny swap blog" for pictures and answers to the questions I asked when I did mine (except i didn't have to use the other hubs/axles b/c i didn't use a DOHC m/t... i used an SOHC one)

you're gonna need a VG flywheel tho, because the VE flywheel has 8 bolt holes in the center, and the VG has just 6.

if you have any specific questions, i've still got most of the answers still fresh in mind from february.

did you have to change the entire brake pedal bracket or is there a way to just add the clutch pedal

you can replace the pedal, or cut off the excess.
there is alot of great info in caped's tranny swap blog. while he was swapping a veegee 5, the vee Eee is almost the same(add spindles, and axles to the swap list)

all 3 pedals are independent of each other in terms of removal/installation.
