Car being repainted...

I decided I wanted a metallic black instead of plain old black again...I skimmed through some pages in this huge paint book and picked Honda's "New Black Pearl Metallic" it's dark black but when the light hits it, it has silver specks in the paint that you see. I think it'll look pretty viscous. I was supposed to get Chromalusion but my dad was being a ******* so now I just have normal old paint... Oh well, pics up when I get the car back in 3-5 days.

the new black sounds tight, how much are you being charged for it?
Also, is the Chromalusion the sort of color changing paint?

My car was vandalized. Sunroof cracked a tiny bit, hood dented, scratched all over. The insurance company cut me a check for $2200 ($2700 damage minus the $500 deductible). Since the car is a 1991 I thought it'd be a better idea to buy a used hood (saving $400 right there) and get the whole car painted by Maaco. I know it's not the BEST paint job but I have seen some that look alright. I got the best one they had w/integrated clear coat (2 layers reg paint 2 layers clear coat) it's eurethane paint and has a 4 year fade warantee. And, I get to have my whole car painted instead of just most of it... paying a little extra to get all the scratches sanded out I got the paint job fror $700 I think. It was originally like $900 but is on sale. I think it's a pretty good deal. I won't have the car for 4 years anyways. Chances are, ***gets at school are going to key it again also.
