My 92 max se will run fine but once in a while it will lose power and start jurking check engine light goes on then it might last a few seconds or sometimes like a min and then it runs fine check engine light goes off its was happening like once a week but now its becoming more common sounds like my cat is clogged it sounds like the sputtering is coming for it any help???

 

pull out the codes from ECU first....

You might want to check the plugs, dist cap, and button. Sounds like one of these could be bad and these would cause that problem. Also, you might have gotten a bad tank of gas. Add some ISOHeat to the tank and see if that helps.
