There are three mainscrews that hold it in place. To access the alternator you need to go underneath the car. You need to unscrew the tensioner.......(has a small bracket with two scrws on it)

Next go to the top of your alternator and you wil find a bolt at the top of it.......and if you go to the opposite side of your first screw same place, there should be anothe one just like it unscrew it and presto it pops right out....then unhook the wires and make note as to where they go.....The manual is helpful also.
