The 60k/5yr swap interval is general directive; all depends on how used.

My guess on reman alt failures is on oxidation; casings (?) loose contact ... To fight that, I liberally lubed my last alt all over (swap on a 2k2 maxima) with CRC contact grease: lets see if it fails next year.

If it fails they give me lifetime warranty so I hope it lasts more than 1 year, everything seems to be working good so far, Thanks!
