Oooops :-(

I used a rubber mallet+ a soft rag over the area to be hit, then just lightly pounded the dent back out to conform to the original curve of the taillight.
naw, she wasn't mad at all, she got all
when i walked back in the house and told her that i hit her car, she thought i totaled it out.
But after seeing what it done to it, she was like
whatever, and walked back in the house.

Thanks DanNY and Greeny.
My hopefully last request, could you circle some hit points that you used to get the dent out. I thought hitting something with a mallet will cause a the body to mold in the direction of the hit. Call me stupid
, but did you remove the taillight, and somehow bang the mallet from inside the rear driver side?

If you will look at the original dent pic, you will see the metal was just pushed inward, so i used the mallet to push it back out. Not perfect, but good enough for me.
