Oooops meant to put STOCK, not stop

So i'm taking off my 19 Evo-5 been on there long enough out of 5 rims bent 2 scratched 3 and gone through many many tires on these crappy Houston roads. Figured out these things cost me too much. Just gonna go back to stock for now. And maybe look for sum 18's.

2002 GLE

So my stock 17 gle rims are worn all the way down need to get a new set of tires i Have the el42 tires on them and i didn't like the wet ride. What tire and size do yall recommend. I have 215/55/17, I see that many ppl have put different sizes on the GLE rim. What has the best been with people with the GLE's out there.

Probably a stupid question, but what's the width of the GLE rims? 7"?

GLE rims are 7" wide.

If you're getting a set of 17's anyway, would you be interested in a set of Toyo Proxes 4 245/45/17's mounted on Moda R6's? I had these on my Max some time ago, the tires have 7/32's tread left. (new one's come with 10/32). The size is in spec for an SE, i'm not sure about GLE's.

I'll let it go for $500 if you're interested, that should still be cheaper than a new set of tires + mounting

Well, if you're interested just lemme know. It's just taking up garage space right now and i'm kinda getting tired of rotating them so it won't flatspot.

i always found it funny how the EVO5's are notorious for bending and knock on wood my EV-S are rock solid and been through a lot with no problems. guess the spoke design of them is better
