unfortunately, the only way to change the color of the clock is to either replace the display (dont know of another source) or use colored light filters.

yes, but there is a filter on there to begin with, so you need to know that any color you use over will come out to a different color.
If you do a search you will find a thread about trying to change the color.

I've got no filter on mine. Its right here on the desk next to me...the clear plastic cover has a dark tint...like window tint...and the actualy clock display doesnt have anything over it. It's always been green. Positive it is not voltage controlled? or controlled within the screen itself??
My auto shifter has a green tint, but these blue LEDs shine soo bright, the tint doesnt count for s**t, the shifter looks just as blue as my white SE gauges.

In light, I think orange over green makes a sky blue?
Its pretty cheap stuff, so I'll give it a crack after Ive finished my interior and post some pics if it works.

My lights are out too on my Heat/Ac controls. Will these lights work in them as well?

I was way wrong on the numbers.
T10s for:
Gauges (4x)
Auto shifter (1x)
Glove Box (1x)
Trunk Light (1x)
Doors (Replace the red covers with clear) (4x)

T5s For:
Ignition Barrell (1x)
Ashtray light (1x)

T3s (Wedge-In) For:
Steering collumn switches (Dimmer, fogs, etc) (2x-4x)
Climate Control (3x needed, but 4 lights exsist)

T3s (square shapped - need to be soldered in) For:
Regular A/C (7x (I think))
A/T Power/Comfort switch (1x)
Driver's Side Power Windows AutoUp/Down switch (1x)
(These things are hard to find, open up the modules and install)

Hope this stops people from asking the question (that I previously answered incorrectly)

Changing the needles is a nightmare of a task. Once, and IF you change them you have to syncronise them, which is another nightmare. Look in the 5th Gen stickies for LED clusters / changing needle colors, that gives you an idea of how you can change the needle appearance the easy way. There has also been dozens of threads, with pics, giving you a good idea of how to pull the dash apart (although, if you cant use your initiative and work that out on your own, I'd give the needle mods a miss).

Just The Reverse

If anybody wants the opposite effect; which would be blue gauges with black numbers, they sell a gauge-face kit on Ebay. I'm not sure of the quality though. Never seen one up close. I'm happy enough with my white gauges...

Here's mine; blue for the main dash area and red for the temp/fuel gauge area. It was only for a trial at first and I didn't expect it to turn out as good as it did so I left it

You can just faintly tell from this bad quality photo that I've also installed chrome gauge rings.

That looks pretty cool. Check out Pearl93VEs profile, he's used red all over.

Everyone else - when will you retards learn to read?
You CAN use it on A/C (both manual and Climate Control), and the bulb sizes have been explained alot more than once as well.
