I Own All Sunroofs!!!!

i was so stoked! i went to the junkyard to get a handle (BTW MATT, thanks but i got a black handle! 20 bucks. but i appreciate everythign man). anyway, i was getting the handle and i notice that the one third gen has the stock sunroof visor. you know, like the ventshade things. anyway, i have a big ugly aftermarket one so i got this one. i have NEVER seen a 3rd gen with an OEM one. it says nissan on it and everything anyway, prolly sounds stupid but i thought it was a good find, and for 10 bucks. . ..

Re: I Own All Sunroofs!!!!

I think that was a good find. I have been to many junkyards in Las Vegas and none of them have any 3rd generations that they are willing to part out. They only have 1st and 2nd gens. And the junkyards that have the 3rd gens, they only part it out in big increments. (like, whole door, whole engine, etc.)

If you go to the actual Dealer, I think they sell them for about $55. The OEM one that says Nissan on it. I am in the process of trying to get one for cheaper. They really look great on the 3rd gen.

damn, I can not find ANY 4th gens on Junkyards period. It's crazy. I've seen quite a few 3rd gens but only 1 4th gen which was already stripped.

yea, OEM wind deflector is cool 10$ is a way better deal then 50$ for a new one at Nissan.

Do you still have your sunroof wind deflector in good condition? If so, I want it. Let me know.

There's a junkyard about 20 minutes away from me that has about 10-12 4th gens 15 3rd gens and a couple 5th gens They get their cars from all over the northeast.
