Bad EGR valve or Bad Fuel Injectors???

I have a 93 maxima GXE VG30e engine and it has been running weird lately! it seems like its having a little trouble starting somtimes, and when it starts, it seems to heisitate a little then smooths out. But I noticed today that when I put it in park and listen to it run. I listened to the muffler, and I hear a contenuous miss consistently. It goes puff puff u know. Dont know what it could be. It wasnt doing it before, although the hesitation at startup on a warm day was there, but it always smooths out. Sounds like a fuel injector issue but i am not sure. It was one day when I started it up, and it ran terribly like there was a bad spark plug wire. Took it to a mechanic and one said that is was a burned valve, took it to another mechanic who said it was a bad spark plug, and showed me that there was a cylinder that was not recieving fire or spark, so I got that plug out, put some 93 gas in it, and it ran fine for the next 10,000 miles or so. The issue doesnt affect the driving of the car but its not somthing I want to overlook, as I try to do preventive measures to keep the car operating in peak condition as I do alot of traveling. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Oh by the way the car had 175,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has 214,000 miles and still runs excellent, minus the issue above.

Sounds like a bad injector, when one of mine went bad it was also intermittant, sometimes when starting it ran on 5 cylinder, but after about 2 minutes of driving it came good, and was fine until the next time I stopped it. I measured the injectors and the resistance of one was way out of spec, I replaced it and it has been fine ever since.
