slight hesitation when accelerating?

this is my second 3rd gen VG30E GXE and this one does it too....from a complete stop, when I give it a little gas it hesitates a bit, so to compensate I have to give it a little more gas.

Car is well maintained mechanically and cosmetically. I have a JWT pop charger and WSP Ypipe and new exhaust all the way back from the Ypipe. The throttle cable doesnt seem to need adjustment, so I doubt it's that. The PCV valve as just changed and the throttle chamber was just cleaned too...

any ideas? similar symptoms?

When you give it the extra bit of gas, does it feel like a sudden burst of acceleration, or does it just accelerate as expected?

My GXE does the same thing, it sometimes hesitates from a stop. But it could be a number of things with mine though, for one some of my injectors are going bad, 2 it may be TPS or spark plug wires. I had one Mechanic tell me that my timing may be off or has slipped a bit.

My 89' does that and I found that one of my injectors was starting to go bad, and cleaning the throttle body always helps.
