I have some back issues of Sport Compact Car and I found some stuff on the Type R and it said it runs about 14.2 or 14.7 stock in the 1/4 mile and they have the Sentra SE and it runs 15.7 or 15.6 (can't remember exactly) stock in the 1/4 mile. I was wondering does anyone know what the SE-R spec V runs in the 1/4 mile (stock)? Let me know if you know? Also in another issue they tested the SE-R spec V and the new Z and they tested the SE-R against the Type R and Nissan says it out did the Type R???

 

they tested the new Vspec and they said that it is only making 145 fwhp!!!!! it was running 15.7's and they were very disappointed. as a matter of fact, they said teh stock SE sentra was faster than the Vspec and they seem to be holding up the BS flag on nissan's HP numbers. i wanna dyno the new maximas and altimas now!

Is the FWHP you are referng to Fly Wheel or Front Wheel horsepower? If it were front wheel then the numbers are about right for a car making 175 flywheel HP

 

Ive seen alot of type R's in the race track most of them are in high 14's
