So I took this device out of a mitsu eclipse 97. it was in the sun visor. i think it was harder to get the dam thing out of the donor car then put it in mine, haha. the next hardest thing about this mod was trying to decide where to put it. i spent years ,no joke, trying to think of the best spot. then finally it hit me - under the stearing column, it had all the perfect aspects; it was within easy reach, hidden from site in case i messed it up or from thiefs, plenty of room ( the box is about the size of a half deck of cards.) I did paint the black plastic piece a lot so it would match my black interior.
