Resolution

My New Year resolution is to restore my VE as much as I can. The thing was bucking and stalling, fixed that, the temp gauge wasn't working right, fixed that, replaced the front bumper assembly and left front fender...headlight assembly and corner light. Switched to full synthetic engine oil and I want to do the gearbox...is it really ten quarts like the FSM says. The rear struts feels like they're frozen solid. What should I get her for Christmas.

My New Year Resolution would be getting the Warpspeed Y-Pipe I always wanted. But I got a LOT of repairs and a timing belt change/upgrade coming next year so I gotta do all of that before I even think about perfrormance upgrades.

well for struts, for stock height get KYB-GR2s they good for their money and for the gearbox, u measure how much u pour out and then fill the same about and up to the line. My resolution is to get a retro-fit for the headlights!

Get the running temperature back down to normal, and maybe an engine + gearbox rebuild. Might become a daily driver again depending on career change.

Planning to order Amsoil gearlube which is kinda pricey, but good. I use it in the 02 and that use a little less than 3 quarts. The engine in the VE is already swapped...92 SE with a 94 VE...she runs all the way out 145mph easy.
