Wings West style wing.

Don't know if this is a repost, or old news or whatever, just trying to share in case anyone was looking for these. (I think i remember wings west running out of these before or something?)

Probably a reproduction. There are some sellers on ebay reproducing the complete WW kits as well.

Nice progress on the project BTW

Dang, $75 for shipping.

I bought my Stillen spoiler from a guy on ebay for $50 shipped. I think the shipping was like $20.

when was that though?
UPS has their dimensional shipping charges nowadays that means the bigger the package the more they charge.

I think I bought it in 2004 or 2005.

USPS has that, too. I did a calculation of 66" x 14" x 14" (just a guess on size) and it was $107 Oregon to New York for parcel post! Same package is $76 for UPS.

I didn't think it would be that much more.

It's kind of silly that to ship a 15 lb spoiler and costs 10x more than 70 pounds of stuff in a Flat Rate Box.

That's pretty ridiculous. I shipped a 100lb transmission in ~20 cubic inch box for under $100 via UPS from Portland to the east coast a few years ago. Course somehow they "lost" it. UPS is insanely overpriced these days though, USPS usually beats their prices by a nice chunk.

Ditto on that. USPS Priority usually beats UPS ground by a considerable margin on most items (and not even just the flat rate boxes which are so small now they're not as versatile), and is usually almost twice as fast. UPS ground is agonizingly slow and expensive. I pretty much exclusively use USPS these days. Heck, even Parcel Post is faster than UPS ground in many cases.

My only complaint with those guys is those idiots can't ever manage to pick up my packages. They only pick them up about half the time, which is pretty annoying considering how much they tout the package pickup service.

Do you recall the part number for that wing? The one you have.

Bummer they ripped you off like that - you going to contact them?
