Getting Closer!
Meet Wedge guys....here are a few pics of the 1990 Maxima that's finally rolling and rolling well! Got a few mods left to install, in which I have the parts...JWT ECU, Goodridge SS brake hoses, New brake M/c, new f/r pads...Finally got all the rust off the rotors! I have a bad adjustable fuel pressure regulator or It's not compatible to the Walbro 190 Lph pump ( can't set fuel pressure below 60 psi or it flucuates), crank seal leak ( paint overspray damaged seal),steering wheel off 2 or 3 ( not straight), resonator rusted thru so i'll replace with either a CherryBomb or Thrush Glasspack! I prefer Thrush cause it's perforated not louvered like the Cherrybomb! I'll get this list done quickly cause I really wanna drive this car for a while...I was gonna go with Pacesetter's catback but that's a minimum 8 week waiting...too long man! I'll go with a custom T409 2.25 catback and Metallic substrate Cat....the headers, cam and port work really performance are really impressive... even @ 1/3 throttle!!!! Meantime I'm rolling with my old Hawaii plates @ night oniy!!!!

comment: is your FPR designed for fuel injected systems? watching Horsepower TV on spike one weekend, and just remembered they said there are some differences, and if you get the wrong one, it can cause stuff not to work right.
Clean ride, regardless of how it runs

Carbed FPR is much lower pressure (max 10psi) vs FI FPR which can max out at 100psi

I'm unsure of the official Nissan color...It's burgandy
Thanks, Bro!!!!
That's correct, the AFPR was finally able to control the flow and pressure at 60 psi......

Dang does Nismo make an AFPR for carbs? No!....It's to small to handle the Walbro fuel flow at idle or cruise! Or it's a defective unit...I'm gonna try Professional Product's AFPR cause it's physically bigger and rebuildable!

Car looks good. Kinda reminds me of a guy who used to be on here Jdwyer (or something like that)
I still love my black VE's but I always forget how sharp the dark gray around the bottom of the 3rd gen is (with it contrasting nicely with a color like burgundy)

The paint is in fairly good condition...And I've never waxed it or polished it in the 4 yrs I owned it....The previous owner was a middle aged woman and the car was overheated once upon a time... All but 1 drivetrain mount was replaced, strut had popped out the strut tower and lots of other little problems...
