Anyone come across this before?

The car has been really rough in netural jumping everywhere for the last few weeks, it's also been slowing pretty sharp after acceleration.

I was guessing a vacuum leak but it's been real bad weather over here and I have not had a chance to dig about.

Today out of the blue, the engine check light decided to come on everytime i touched the acelerator. It stoped when I took my foot off.

Any ideas?

Will check tomorrow for anything obvious and any ecu codes (midnight at the mo in UK).
