Reason for every one to get a WSP ypipe

Look at the crappy restrictive design of the stock ypipe
the flow of the second manifold actually Goes AGAINST flow

WSP y-pipe

mykizism, You are correct. I once got into an argument about this with a 4th Gen guy, he was sure the reason that the gains were made was from the removal of the pre-cats. The 4th Gen pipe has the same against the flow design of the back down pipe.BTW you must have one of our older pipes as the plenum area of our newer ones is much more smooth. Thanks for the feedback.

Woah... now that's a weird way to design something. Anyone know why it's like that?

At least now I know WSP is the way to go when my Y gives out.

yup, the WSP is a lot less restrictive than the stock pipe
better materials and a much more direct design

check out my site in the how-to section for comparison pics and reviews

Craig, how noticeable is the performance increase after you got it? also what kinda intake do you have?

it's not a HUGE increase but the difference is definitely noticable and worth it, I've never been on a dyno but their website (www.warpspeedperformance.com) shows something like 6HP to the wheels which is a nice increase; the sound is nice too combined with my intake
I have a Stillen intake that Mr Rose GENEROUSLY donated to me
Thanks Jason

Yes, the WSP Y-pipe made a huge difference in drivability. Runs to the redline are quicker and more rewarding. Before I put it on, there was no point in redlining at all, power pretty much got flat at 5000, now it rips to 6000, especially with intake and advanced timing. By the way, the WSP crew has fantastic customer service. My pipe leaked at the collector. They went out of their way to hook me up with a replacement and pay shipping for me to return the leaker when I get the new one. Thanks guys! Now let's see some headers!

I know some people that could, um, make a reason happen if you know what I mean No doubt, those studs are a real booger to fix. We need WSP to hook up some high flow manifolds or headers.
