The Exhaust Pipe
The Exhaust Pipe
I want to go under the car and cut my exhaust pipe without the use of power tools...I'm considering a chain type pipe cutter. What do y'all think.

That exhaust been roasting under there for 20 yrs through sunshine, rain, snow, ice and mucho salt. The bolts don't even look like bolts at this point. Chris, how's the cat looking on your thingy over there.

soak em in sum wd-40 and try. u never know
we don't get much rust here (don't salt the roads). The cat looks good, so does everything else. I would put the entire exhaust on my car right now if I didn't have a cattman y-pipe and GReddy cat-back.

god info there
I have a battery operated reciprocating saw and a chain exhaust pipe cutter at my disposal now. I'm inclined toward the chain cutter, but we'll see...a pic of the cut will be posted.
