That crap might work on old cars but these new cars are way to delicate to just throw crap in them. Besides, they make stuff that you can pour in your engine before the oil change to help you flush it all. No need to go ghetto on your engine.
I'm pretty sure most of us VE guys have done something similar when we were younger.
I (stupidly) took my original skyblue VE auto up to 142 when I was about 17, and I had my twin brother and best friend as passengers. I wanted to peg out the speedo but got scared. Looking back on that, I can't believe how stupid that was of me.
But, yeah, VE's can do 150mph+ no doubt. I could've sworn Matt (or some other old-timer) got a VE up to 160ish and verified with a cop friend's radar gun or some such.
Back on topic now..

as far as engine flush i dont recommend it. you could end up with more problems.
but i only would do it if its all sludged up. If you change your oil religiously your good.
