Ohm test on injectors, A good spread? (Char. NC)

I finally went through a thorough contact cleaning of all my fuel injectors on the '90 VG. MAN! Green dust to spare!! Taped up all cracked boots (did not do #2, couldn't get to it due to intake).

My #3 injector is not injecting and I'm going on my second $$ bottle/tank of BG 44K. This happened 2.5 yrs ago and it rectified itself, so I'm praying. But check out these resistances, especially the one that doesn't work. How many ohms difference between injectors is acceptable?

#1: 13.1 ohms
#3: 163.2 ohms (HA! Think it will free itself up?)
#5: 13.9 ohms
#6: 12.4 ohms
#4: 13.2 ohms
#2: No Data Avail.

I've heard .5 diff between injectors is acceptable, but not from credible source. Is there a spec.? (not the 10-14 ohm spec.)

I think you will be ok. Once you get #3 fixed.

yeah, #3 is dead. not sure what you mean by "free itself up," and I don't know what bg 44k is. the problem is electrical, not mechanical. you could send it to the world's best injector guys, and they (if honest) will tell you it's toast.

Well hopefully you haven't put it back together and can replace the injectors you need to replace. #2 should go as well.

The injector solenoid seems to fail first (mostly)....the mechanical nozzle is robust and reliable!!!

Oh, no... Now I get to stop my house renovation and go back to what I know... greasey fingernails. Well, The BG 44K is a really good additive that used to be available readily, but now is only available at various dealers (BMW, Audi, VW, Hyundai (sp?), Mazda. It's $20 +- depending on where you get it. I get it direct from the NC distributor for $14 and change and 2.5 years ago, after 2 tanks, my problem went away (same symptoms). Was so hoping for similar luck, but an 85 mile trip at 80 mph has produced no luck and I'm on the second tank of treated gas.

Seems like this time the solenoid is just plain stuck and no amount of additive will rectify if I understand you correctly. Can anyone verify the ".5 ohm variance between all injectors" statement? If Nissan says "10-14ohms for individual injectors is acceptable", and most of yours (mine) are closer to 14 than 10, there is more resistance and may be smart to replace all as opposed to one?

This as evident by the member who has one new injector for sale because he decided to do all injectors since the engine was torn down that much? more thoughts? Mine are all closer to 14 than 10 ohms and I've got 230K on 'em.
