Who's Interested in a 3rd Gen Cattman 2.5" Catback?
i was going to use 12576 for a muffler as well but i bought a can instead
my JDM side getting out, its a really good brand though. just like the can look more than a normal muffler

I should've changed the title to "Who's Interested in a 3rd Gen MES catback?" from the very beginning! Since it's a reality now! Once the muffler is here and mounted, I'll measure my necessary tip length and order a resonated tip, which really helps mellow/smoothen the exhaust tone/note! Also as far as fitment is concerned the oval slanted tip or 3.5"-4" round are my first choices that will fill the Oem cutout in the rear fascia. Assured Performance Tips are pretty inexpensive and 100% stainless steel......
Well It came in yesterday ...and man it's really nice equipment, the 12576 muffler is huge!!!! I'll play with it this weekend....I'm busy doing valve covers/intake on a 2000 Maxima lot crap to free up!
Well guys I've been busy working on a 2000 Maxima VC/IM and I only gt a little done on my "90" regarding the muffler and resonator. I'll be doing some stuff this week while @ work....Here's some pics of the 12576 and 10426 Magnaflow mufflers:

It's tucked up in there pretty freakin good just won't be using that 7" resonated tip, I'll chop a 3.5" down to size or flatten it into an oval tip with a little heat and pressure.....
Wow, that actually looks pretty good and doesn't seem to suffer from the downward slant problem. Another picture like this one, but from a little further way, would be fantastic

Also really curious as to the sound with the resonator in there. I'm looking to hopefully get my setup about as quiet as my GReddy on the blue VE (which is actually pretty darn quiet) .

That's how the thread started out only!!!!! MES is the Kit provider/builder! BUT IF CATTMAN DID BUILD ONE you'll be one of the first to try too buy one USED @ lowball prices!!!! LOL!
Believe me it will pickup once most of us post our finished Catback project pictures!!!!!

I should have mine finished tomorrow....I'll take some pics.....
My wifey has the Camera....But I've got it all fitted perfectly, welded, and painted with 500 degrees F HTP. Looks really good for a $350 Catback system.....I stopped by a Meinike Muffler not to far from my home and ask the clerk how much for a 3" slant cut SS tip....He stated $85 installed...F**k Him, I'll order one from Assured Performance for $24....

Hope those pics were helpful and inspiring,.....for a $350 catback system when I count everthing I put into it, other than my time.....the tubing kit cost us approx $120 plus $25-30 shipping, I decided to use the biggest **** muffler I could fit 5"x11"x22" Magnaflow muffler p/n 12576 and 4" round x 18" Magnaflow muffler p/n 10426....good luck to all those interested, thanks for the tubing kits from MES with special thanks to Josh......

made an appointment and mine is going on Wednesday, everyone on a local forum goes to one place here because they let you bring all your own stuff and such, they'll do the exhaust and my Ypipe at the same time
so far so good i guess, they put the Ypipe on but i guess the gaskets went bad and they had to take it out again and put new gaskets in and put it back on
the flange had to be heated and adjusted as well and a stud broke (as i expected lol) but so far so good, i guess theyre just doing the muffler now

yep its a Warpspeed, bought it gently used off of someone on here and figured to just get it done along with the exhaust
should have everything back in less than a hour, then just take it for a wash

Oh so you never even had the y-pipe on there yet?
Do report back on your instant-butt-o-meter on what should be the super noticeable power increase with all this going on at once!
If I can find a cheap WSP y-pipe for the black VE I'll stick it on there, but cut off that lip and weld a flange on there solid. If I can't find a cheap one I think I'll make my own equal length y-pipe like that guy on here did a while back
