Can you guys find my old 92 VE5?

I know it's probably a stretch, but I'm looking for my old Maxima. Not to buy, just see where it is or if it's even still around. It was my very first car.

It's a 92 VE5, white outside with tan interior. I sold it with the stock 15'' SE wheels plus 4th gen 16'' 5 spokes. It had a JWT intake and a Flowmaster 80 series muffler. There would have been evidence of body damage on the right side, front door to quarter panel.

Here's pics of it from my old cardomain page.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/219226

The VIN number is JN1EJ01F5NT103509

I sold the car to an old coworker who kept the car for maybe 6 months, blew up the trans, then sold it to another friend of mine who planned on fixing it but changed his mind and sold it to someone I don't know.

I sold the car with about 122,000 miles on it on or around April 25th of 2003.

This is probably a long shot to find it, but I figured here is as good of a place as any. I've run history reports but there's no registration renewels since 2005 or 2006. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks alot guys!!

Brian

Wow, that looked like a nice VE especially for being in WI

We rarely get new members show up in the 3rd gen forum these days, and those who do get run off as soon as they ask "dumb" questions

Your best bet would probably be the regional forums

If there was body damage and a blown trans, odds are the last guy that had it gave up on the car and sold it to a junkyard or scrapyard for a few hundred bucks. Especially since you can't find any registration for over 5 years.

It sucks, but stock VE 5-speeds only have a kbb value of like $1800, so unless you really love it, having something wrong like a transmission often times sends the car to the scrap pile.

The body damage had been repaired when I owned the car. The bad trans I would imagine would have been replaced by the person who bought it off my friend. The car was bought off my friend at no later than the end of 2003 and being that it was registered until 2005/2006 it had to have been fixed.

BTW, this is in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

Or people like me who never learn and do a 2nd motor swap and rebuild the whole car!

Some just hide for a while too lol... my 92 has been sitting in my garage here in WI unregistered for almost 3 years now, gets driven to the mailbox from time to time just to keep things going but I can't decide what to do with it.
