looks like he took a set of struts(toks?), cut them off, and somehow bolted them into the housing.

The white maxima is a Nissan technician in Britain with a z31 engine with a stage 3 fuel system upgrade running i believe almost 30lbs of boost. It's RHD and last i remember reading ran high 11's.

i had a friend in NZ with a 3rd gen (RHD), although a few years ago he bought a S13 Silvia so the 3rd gen was/maybe still is his DD

i should see if he will sell it to me

Hmm I could be misremembering (is that even a word?) but that doesn't sound right to me. I thought it was a guy from the upper east coast.

I don't ever recall a seriously built 3rd from the UK. All I remember with a white overseas turbo 3rd gen was The Max who was in Australia and just kind of disappeared a year or so back.

yeah thats confusing though because the coilover VE guy says that its his friends turbo VG and only North America got the VE unless theyre both in the UK and he imported a VE

and if you closely look at the white one, you can see its LHD and theres a big tach on the left side, and has the North American grille

there is another guy with a built overseas VG, Wangan_Cruiser, hes in Austria and has a 300km/h speedo too

Yeah, I'm nearly absolutely certain that car is from the upper east coast IIRC. I want to say it's from like Rhode Island or something.

The ONLY member I've ever known of from England in 10 years here is Uncle Pete and that's definitely not his car

any idea how that guy has a 300km/h speedo on a 3rd gen though? it looks like a GXE guage but it maxes out at 300km/h, no other markings

I think its a modifed gxe. If look real close the 8 is different style on the 280 vs 80 same with the 2

Who knows about the gauge cluster. Plus, at the very least, if the white car were a UK car, it should have amber bumper lights, side markers, and headlight wipers...

I think the bigger question is what in the world is up with this UK light grille and this UK Maxima "lowrider"

ive liked this UK 3rd gen, the front bumper is over the top and it needs a more subtle paint job and new rims but i like it still

The guy who originally owned that was named Stu. Originally, it was the stock maroon color and was REALLY clean. Then he turned it into that monstrosity

I think he ended up selling it

you WANT the grille with fogs in it?

if youre serious, you need a Euro model grille from NZ/AUS or wherever, and hack it to fit the fogs then wire them up, but that high up i dont think they DO anything but blind people

It doesn't look hacked at all to me though. It looks like it was atually designed with the foglights in there (or at least blank spaces) complete with the vertical "posts" on either side. If somebody fabricated that they were very very skilled and went through a ton of needless effort

It certainly looks OEM to me. They're very into high mounted driving lights over there, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were some obscure option

Look at those seats! They look like nobody has ever sat in them

The odd thing is, the climate control/radio area and master window switch sure look worn for only 29k miles. If I owned that car, I'd spend the $100 for a new master switch. It's little stuff like that that makes the difference.

I was never a fan of the tan interior but those seats/color combo are pretty attractive. I guess it being in great shape helps. But the carpet looks kind of crummy

I would turn that into a Jeffy style VE 5. But $5500? I wonder how much they got that at auction for
