Yep, those wheels look SWEET on the 3rd gen. They're one of my all time favorites even including aftermarket wheels. I think they'd look infinitely better than your Enkies

I have a set of them in my backyard waiting to go on my black VE when I can give it some more attention

Don't remember whose car this is, but to give you an idea:

*edit* also, that's a good price considering they've got good tread. He's wrong about the tire size though.. as you obviously can't have 17" tires on an 18" wheel

They would look good. I like the Enkei's too. Why not keep both and change them for the season. O4's in the winter. IMO if you have to go with one go with the 04's. They look a little more agressive. Found a simlar pic for ya. I think they are z rims but really close to what you're looking at.
This is not my car.

Another 5th gen set for your viewing pleasure. These are the 5th gen 17s. This one is my black VE as it sits now (I never bothered to get proper sized tires put on). I'm going to sell these wheels though and slap on the 18s in the backyard.

Those Max wheels look good but the enkies black w/chrome lip match your paint better.

I think the newer Maxima tire size is a fair amount too large for our cars.

You should get the wheels, then sell the tires and buy some that fit properly. Some tire stores take tires in trade, but you get hosed pretty good.

I have a set of wheels like James does (2005 Maxima 17s) and the tires were too big for my Maxima. I dismounted them and sold them on CL. I paid $100 for the wheels and tires and sold the tires for $230.

I painted my wheels, but haven't picked up tires for them yet:

The 04's look better on the max. The enkies look too small on the car.

+1 on the 97SE wheels

are you sure the enkei's have the right size tires on 'em? because they look way too small. if you had the proper tire size (and a modest drop) they would look fine.

yeah i think the problem with the Enkies has to be the tires, 17's on a 3rd gen shouldnt look that small

Titanium Edition 5.5th Gen are sexier and stronger than those 2004 18" weaklings....I've seen several of these broken at the spoke and hub (to sharp of an edge in the transition into the hub)....
