Buying a "new" used clutch

from someone. He has 3000 miles on a ACT streetdisc, i was wondering if buying this used would be ok? He did not have his flywheel resurfaced when installed(which i plan to do) but would that have hurt the clutch plates or somthing if his flywheel was not in great shape? I plan on getting new- throw out bearing and slave cylinder and transaxle seals while there in there. Does this sound good or should i not take a risk on a used clutch?

you can't replace the input shaft seal on the tranny unless you take it apart.. you can only replace the axle seals themselves.. just an fYI if you didn't know that already.

an ACT clutch with 3000 miles is barely broken in. I've got about 7000 on mine now, and it's still slowly getting smoother.
I wouldn't worry about the other guy not resurfacing the flywheel. jsut make sure you do.
