3rd Gen Wheel Well Splash Shield Clip Upgrade

I'm sure plenty of us have tried to remove the wheel well splash shields and in the process damaged those sorry a$$ clips with the small push-in pins.....I've not been able to remove any of those without breaking them, due to age or the difficulty of the process.....Anyway, I have a OEM replacement clip from the 5th Gen's p/n 01553-09321 ($1.12 ea). These are easy to remove and install and rarely ever wears unless you're removing them incorrectly.....Hope this helps you ORGERS!!!!!!! It's a perfect fit!!!

Good find I could probably get them a bit cheaper through my parts guy. Monday I will give him a call and see what price he offers on these clips.

good find on that. I have a whole set of splash guards for my car I haven't bothered with because of the clips. Once I get the POS transmission/clutch issues sorted out, I will have to grab some of these.

Trunk liner fasteners work perfect, it doesn't matter if they break, plus they're free at the junkyard.

I'll tell you what the worst part is, aligning the splash guards with those fender clips.

Once installed they're good 5+ years down the road and your don't have to worry about them breaking upon removal, they're beefy and reuseable button style.....

It's funny how something so small like that could make a job seem so easy. The splash shield clips an the interior door cover inserts suck and you have to replace after you disassemble everytime or they don't work right.

Yeah I think they're the same suck a$$ design as the wheel well splash shields.....one time usage.....I had mine off and remembered that I keep the 2-3 styles used on my 5.5th Gen on hand in my small inventory and decided to see if it fit and it was a perfect fit!!!!!!
