3rd gen alarm?

the car I bought, has the alarm with door buttons. But I cannot seem to find any info on it, to see what the functions are and if they work.

If anyone has any info on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

not to mention, that simply tells me how to check all the things to make sure they are broken.

Now how to find out the code and all that jazz.

youre talking about the keyless entry on GXE? the user manual has how to change the code if you need to, to do stuff with the numberpad just put in the code and then press the window button to get the windows down etc.

i havent used mine in a year and a bit because i need a new door lock timer, and the numberpad only works for the trunk and windows not the locks

Thanks everyone!

Everything is all golden now, front windows go down, trunk opens and doors unlock. Can't wait to start driving a car with a/c and stuff!

The keyless entry is a great option, yeah an alarm pad on your keychain is better but you don't need your keys to get into your ride with this. This system won't let you lock your keys in the key ignition and if you lock the keys in car or worse the trunk(I've done this more than once in other rides), your still good money. I had to get the code off the control unit cause previous owner had no idea what it was.
