air filter question

lets start off with a

i dont do my own oil changes in winter, last time it was done was about a month ago, kid was struggling to open my air filter box so i said dont worry about it, its got a K&N and i know when i last cleaned it

since then, something has been rattling whenever i hit a bump or close a door, never thought much of it until i got fed up tonight

dumba55 left the 2 bottom clips on the airbox undone top 2 were still on, and the box was still closed and the air filter was in its place

any damage possible from this or no?

EDIT- so i checked it all, filters clean and no debris in the box, and with the 2 top clips its still a good seal so im not going to worry. looks like the place is bad for that, seems people have had air filters torn, installed backwards, etc. from the same place. looks like i'll do my own oil changes in winter at work on my lunch hour on the hoist vs. going back

funny thing is i just looked into it, and theyre notorious for screwing up air filters. theyve installed peoples air filters backwards, torn, all clips off, etc.

kinda hard to trust them to put in oil if they cant do a air filter a 5 year old can do

I put a Jeffy style CAI in and never looked back. I always snorted at the idea and it turned out to be one of my best mods. I even intimidate a few would be racers at the stop light with growl it makes. Looks better too.
