93 SE problems/questions... help.

1. Unlocking the driver door with a key engages the theft alarm but when I unlock the passenger door, it disengages the alarm. Also, double unlocking the driver door won't unlock all, but the passenger door can. How can I fix this?

2. Are hood strut clamps good?

3. When I pull the signal switch towards me (which is the high-beam light), it won't hold to that position. Is this natural?

4. Does the jack comes with a special cranking tool?

5. In the tool leather case, there are 3 tools, a lug wrench, T-end negative screwdriver, and an L-shaped tool with a negative sign slot. What is this tool called and where to use it?

1. There is a magnetic sensor by the key cylinder which will sense the cylinder's tab when you turn the key to the unlock position and turn off the alarm. Most likely that sensor went out so it won't read the tab. Unfortunately for my car, the sensor is no good on the passenger door so I can't try the double-turn to unlock all doors.

I would think when you lock/unlock the driver door the rest will follow. Do the rest of the doors lock/unlock when you manually push and pull the door lock yourself?

2. Never tried that one. I would use a lock wrench when I need to hold the trunk. New hood struts are far from my to do list on this car.

3. That's normal. If you want it to hold, push it.

4. The t-end screwdriver you mentioned in #5 is the cranking tool. The t-end goes on the jack.

5. I believe that L-shaped tool is to manually move the electric shoulder belt. There is a hole on the center pillar between the doors which is where you use it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

It randomly unlocks/locks all doors thru the driver door. Maybe like 1 out of 25 turns.
