Nice work, really good welds.

Don't worry about all the "i don't like", I got the same thing for the paint job on my X-runner. It's not my style either, but if that's what you want then props for the work and the dedication.

im not worried about the not liking i have my reasons and thats all i need. would be interested in a cf one but i gots no moneys for that. was one of the reasons i made my own hood cause its a lot cheaper and thats allmost free speed

I actually like this hood. Good work. I think you should have welded it from the underside though for a cleaner look and less grinding before paint. +1

wel i did it like that so that when i grind i could round them and make it look better then having 90* angles

I think with welding being done on the bottom is better and you can always use a body filler to shape the corners too the more rounded look if that's what YOU like!

not bad, i like it. i think if the big vent was a bit bigger and the side vents smaller it may look better, but overall its a good attempt.

yea i was also thinkin for fun i was gana cut another vent over where it says nissan 3000 and change that to turbo maxima until i finish the new hood. Plans are to have her boosting by spring

no the amount of fiberglass needed to make the hood strong enough makes it heavyier then just steel sheets
