Sudden loss of power
Today my max just loss power it will barely accelerate. I replaced my MAF still the same issue. It fires up fine and runs in park, but when I put it in drive or reverse and accelerate it will barely go. This is the first time I have ever had a problem of this kind.

Blocked intake (sucked in plastic bag etc) or blocked exhaust (lose silencer baffle)?
Parking brake stuck?
FPR ok? (fuel pressure at spec)
Engine hot with AC on and all electrical loads you can including the radiator fans on with AT in Park - idles fine? ................. if yes, shift to drive - still ok?

bad gas, bad fuel injector(s), catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, vacuum leak, transmission problem...
could be one of about a zillion things. need more info.
does it make any funny noises? turn the radio and AC off and roll down the window and take a listen.
also pop the hood and look around. never know- you could find a wildebeest living in your intake or something.

Did you pull any codes yet?

Similar problem here, rough idle, no acceleration, hit the ac button and comes very close to dying... Already replaced plugs, plug wires, rotor, and rotor cap and that helped a little with acceleration but thats it. Never thought about alternator though. Seafoam is next on the list .
I would do the easy things first and go from there, first check for spark. Just pull off one plug wire at a time while the car is running and put it up against anything metal in the engine bay and you should see a constant spark and also be able to hear it. After that use a volt meter and check the ohms on the injectors.

Alternator? No... Idle air control valve. It's not adjusting your idle UP for the extra load on your system(when using the AC) If your car charges your battery at 14.~ volts then your alternator is fine.
