Look what I did today!!

I thought I'd start a thread to show what I did to my Max today and would like to hear some feedback about it. Maybe some of you would like to post some of the things you've done recently. It's nothing huge but I think it looks right. I prepped, primed and painted my oem grille all black!!

I think it would've looked better to just paint the center bar of the grille.

I actually thought of doing just the center but decided to go all black. I was in the local pick n pull contemplating on buying a painted SE grille that matched my body color when I decided to paint my grille. I figured if I don't like it then I'll go back and grab the SE grille. I really need to do a retro fit to my Euro lenses. By the way...the entire front end of your 4G looks magnificent!!

I appreciate all the compliments guys...I'm hoping some of you will share your small accomplishments in this thread. My bytch has come a long way since her purchase about 4 years ago and I get more compliments now then back then. The average person is surprised about her age, how clean she is and how nice looking the Maxima was back then. I remember back in the early 90's, an older guy in my neighborhood bought a brand new 91' GXE and we all swarmed his Max to check it out as he pulled up to our local hangout. Every time I look at my Max she brings back good memories of growing up and hanging out with all my HS buddies...those were the days!!

You could've tried Plastidip and seen which one you liked better.

I appreciate your comment A retro in your headlights would look really nice.

I think he's referring to the fact that the blacked-out grille looks like a Hitler moustache...

It looks good. I like the black tons better than chrome. I really don't like chrome at all. I need to find the time to paint the chrome trim on my BMW. It seems like a really tedious job, though. There is a mile of chrome trim around the windows.

I finally mounted/balanced/installed my new rims/tires!!

th_Untitled-14.jpg?t=1349631315 th_Untitled-17.jpg?t=1349631751

Some pics of my new wheels that have been waiting to get mounted/balanced and finally installed. The rears just clear the suspension because I had to go with the 8" wide rims. The rims are 16x8 w/Toyo Proxes P225/45R16 and she hugs the road beautifully.
