Another bites the dust.....

Window regulator, that is.

Passenger side front this time.

Thank goodness for ebay, the regulators are cheap enough -

Now to remember how to change it out....

Wish me luck!

When my front passenger side window regulator went on my Max the window would slide it's way down into the door. Mostly in the summer weather I had issues with the window staying up while driving at highway speeds. I bought a regulator from egay and I'm satisfied with the outcome so far.

Bought two regs from ebay, cake of piece to install, and they work like a charm.

Yes, eBay regs are under $30.00 delivered and now I've installed my third.

Should probably go ahead and order the last one now, but, well, "coulda shoulda woulda"

Installation is not bad, I always bust some of the trim clips holding the door panel on, if I was half way smart, I'd buy extra's now using the busted ones as templates......

OK, whew, just checked, did not throw them away

I have replaced two out of four.

The driver door one I paid extra a reg off ebay with a new motor in it. The old motor was pretty slow and that window gets more use than all the others combined.

I am waiting for one to fail on my BMW. I understand those are a lot more difficult to replace than the Maxima ones. yaaay.

I think the same thing is starting to happen to me. Guess I gotta do the same. The BMW regulator is the scissor type (all metal). I here its a pita. GL
