There's nothing to be paranoid about. Plenty of people have tried it. Read through the thread(s) and see for yourself.

The idea of 2 cycle oil anywhere near my car doesn't give me a warm feeling inside.

2 cycle oil is pointless on nissan injectors, 99 out of 100 times, nissan injectors fail ELECTRICALLY, as in the electrical coil that opens/closes the injector goes bad..Clogging isnt an issue due to the double failsafe built into the car.. It has the fuel filter, and also the fine mesh screen filters on the injector fuel inlet...

I'm not against the 2 cycle oil stuff, the cleaning properties can only help an engine, not hurt it...but it's not going to fix failed injector coils...

nothing in cars is permanent.
Adding oil to the ethanol already in your gas tank is not something I would consider nor suggest.
And I have been building Skylines engines for more then 5 yrs.
It fixes nothing that needs replacement.
It's just another way to waste time and knowledge in useless internet chat.
injector problems? well Most problems it's in the harness it self.
Heat, corrosion you name it.it's why they sell harness for the injectors and the coils.
Same as Ethanol damage.carbon build up what ever.95% of the times people think they need additives is due to poor knowledge or some dumb forum guru.
can't count the times people think it's injectors and turns out to be bad gap sizes in their plugs.
If you are afraid of less then 10% ethanol in one gallon then you should google non ethanol gas stations in your area.Total.The damage that may have will not be fix by a stupid bottle of 2 stroke mix.

I'm pretty sure oil in the combustion chamber can cause detonation.

Not saying that the concentration that these guys are putting in the gas would do that, but who knows how much it takes. I've heard of excessive leakage from worn oil stem seals, causing the oil to enter the chamber, then cause this damage. Remember, light detonation can occur over time, and you may not notice it if its not severe.

If your putting it in your gas, then your just feeding it straight in through the injectors.

Who knows how much oil it takes though.

Well did i ever mention my car never jumped timing? I did a compression check and they were all pretty damn close! SO. I swapped out 2 dead injectors or should i say stuck open....? I also realized Ive been driving with low batt voltage for a long time. Had a weak/bad alternator. This might have something to do with killing my injectors. So far this combo of used injectors have been running for a while without any problems after the new alt.

Its for sale now. Engine is running perfect.Front steering parts need love. I went over some curbs to avoid an accident.=/ 1000$ 5 speed SE florida=)
