CrimeStopper alarm...need opinions!

This guy I know has a crimestopper alarm. It's a 2-way alarm that alerts you when someone hits your car, or when you remote start it, it tells you when it's starting and then when it's running. The keychain looks like a small cell phone with bigger display, and a retractible antenna.

Have any of you heard of CrimeStopper?
Is it any good?
Are there other similar ones out there that are better?
This model is $200, is that a reasonable price also?

Thanks!

Pat

I think they're pretty nice. They're not quite top of the line but they have most of the same functions and are pretty decent. I've installed 2 alarm/keyless entry of them and 2 remote start/keyless entry (first 2 on hondas, second 3 on maximas) and will be doing another remote start before teh end of the day .
I haven't had any problems with any of the units I've worked with. You can find the remote starter off ebay (CS900ER) for $50-60 or so. I'm not sure about the pager ones but 200 does sound a little high.

good luck

It's more than just a remote starter, it's an alarm, that shows when someone hits your car with a door, or are trying to break into it...and I think it's a pager also, not sure....Just trying to find reputation, and if there's another similar system out there with a long range remote starter... more than 50 feet away...
