Anti-theft issue

So......the fuse situation dealt with....Anyone with advice on the anti-theft issue it now has? Key disables security dummy light in ignition-hot position but starts blinking the second I crank the key over. Anyone know if the keys are coded? For some reason, I believe my key may be wrong because it looks identical to the spare Subaru key my buddy has to his impreza. Can anyone take a pic of their key so I can get a feel for what they are supposed to look like? Thanks again for everyone's time.

Another question on this subject. Has no factory or aftermarket radio in it atm. I know that 96-98 civics require factory radios to remain wired with an aftermarket. At best buy when i installed stereos, we would just leave it in the glove box and wire off of it for the aftermarket radio. I dunno.....about outta ideas and about to say screw it lol.

If it twists, it fits.
Our cars have no such retardation as the honda radios. I literally have no radio in my car, at the moment, and my car runs fine (albeit, boringly).
Try locking and unlocking the doors (first drivers, then passenger if driver side doesn't work). After that, my suspicion would be a bad alarm ecu.

key is just a black oval with a little nissan badge engraved in it

radios wont affect old vehicles, i had a aftermarket one in the 3rd gen with no issues and my trucks radio was ripped out and has gauges in that spot now. its only generally 2000+ vehicles that go into a spaz when you screw around with the radio or remove the battery terminals

might be best to just disable the anti-theft too

Thats what I was waiting for someone to say. I had this issue on my first start up after my motor rebuild. As soon as it wouldn't crank the first thing I went to unplug was the anti-theft box. And boom no problem since. I'll get an aftermarket alarm soon anyway.
