Low Beam Headlight Problem

I have a 1993 Nissan Maxima and the Low beams are both out. I have a few new bulbs and they dont work either. The High Beams work great. I have checked power to the headlights and the highbeams are 11.9v and the low beams when i activate them are 0.00v I checked the combination switch and cleaned the contacts with light sand paper. I checked the two fuses next to the battery in the fuse box still nothing.

Where do I go from here? I just cant get any voltage to that low beam wire.

I would advise checking the switch for continuity on the low setting. Despite the pins being cleaned, they may not be aligned, or bent during cleaning.

Do you have a DRL system, or aftermarket alarm?

Thanks I fixed it

I dont really even want to tell you what I was doing here to make this happen but I will, so no one else will be this stupid.

I had the damn Headlight switch on the Driving light setting with the lever full forward. So I would turn the headlight **** to driving lights and check low beam and then turn the **** to headlights on and check the High beam.

Holy Jesus!
