Will this radio fit in my maxima

hello everybody,

I saw this Bose Cd Player and cass. combo at a local radio shop. I didn't bother in going to ask how much it was since I saw the price tag. The thing is that the tag says that the head unit came from a 2000 nissan pathfinder se equipped with the bose system. I have a 1992 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed equipped with the factory bose speakers and the factory cass. head unit. My question is, with the correct harness will the bose head unit from the 2000 pathfinder work with my speakers and not hinder them? and my other question is, will it fit nicely? All responses to this thread greatly appreciated.

thanks,
D-sta

what do you mean by adapter????. Is this like a special harness because one of my friends sold me a custom made harness so it would plug into the newer units and at the other end of the harness there is the connection to the cars wires. this is what I have, will it work with this?

Thanks,
D-sta

Try this, it will probably be a different model number for the radio but it will explain.
