Yes I know that would make it a CAI. I am sure I can make a piece of junk cover for it. I like the look of scoops but think the wind resistance/noise would outway the benefit. I am thinking more along the lines of a Cold air box. Under a Vent. Just replace the plastic pipe with some kind heat shielded tube, make an open top box out of whatever(I sould do more searching before I name anything),Relocate the battery,ect. You sould be able to get some pretty cold air into the engine as long as looks are no concern
