I saw Ford wheels on a Maxima once, will they bolt up?

I saw Ford wheels on a Maxima once, will they bolt up?

Or did he have adapters or something? He had the factory Cobra Rims on it form about a 1994 or so Mustang Cobra. I bet those Cobra R's would look sweet on there though!

yes. bolt patterns are the same for 5-hole Mustangs and Maximas.

Turbo Todd: If you do do some shopping for some rims, just remember that only the stock 17x8" rims will fit, and not the 17x9" Cobra R rims from the.... Cobra R...

I wonder if a 17X8.5 would fit? I found this from an after market manufacturer....

It might I suppose... I havent' really considered wider rims since we're already clamoring for space under the wheelwell. I suppose it might fit, since a 225 or 235 tire should mount on a 8.5" rim, but I don't know first-hand how the clearance is under there. I would imagine the rim isn't the big problem, and that the tire width IS. Of course all this depends on that rim's offset, which is the overriding concern in fitting wheels on our cars.
