I have BOSE and the only thing that shakes is the rear deck (that's if the BOSE works).

you all just don't know.. I know what this guy is talking about. though they are not individually amped yet.. the front 4 inch bose speakers for my 91 are in maculate shape.. plus the magnet on it is the same circumference as the speaker and 2 inches thick I bypassed the old bose amps wired it to my deck and couldn't belive it. they sound amazing they where made a lot better than the paper 6x9s in the back.. especially considering the 6x9s in mine where sun rotted. tomorrow ill get a pic they are great.. and didn't have to buy new housing.
so stop scratching your heads and saying he is crazy especially if you haven't seen or tried them. and if you did and they didn't impress you they where either blown or you didn't know what you where doing

The 7 post noob comes in and says we don't know? He's not talking about bypassing the amps. He's talking about them handling at the very least 250w apiece. Don't come in here and tell a bunch of veterans that we don't know about the car you just bought. It's not even specific to the car, I'd love to see any stock full range door speaker that has a peak handling of 250 or 500w.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he was trolling or meant something different.

yeah playa...you right. the bass is amazing in this bose system that's 24 years old. those 4 inch speakers up front and the 6X9s are really kicking hard. i just won a trophy at the local meet on how nice the system sounds. 24 year old paper cone is where it's at.

seriously...are you 18? is this your first car?

oh and yeah i ditched the stock stuff and upgraded to components with tweeters, mids, (with cross overs) and sub with amps driving it all...if you feel your stock bose system works for you...so be it.

I don't blame you.

These threads seem very off the wall to me.
